My First Birthday Present 2008
Welcome back to another excruciatingly boring episode of "Yang's Life". Today, I shall talk about really mundane stuff, that is, talking about one day of my life. For all you readers out there, YOU SHOULD NOT BE HERE!!! -clears throat- All right, if this entry does not drive you away, I seriously need to know what will.
-copies LJZ's format in telling a day of his life on his blog-
2.30am
Reached home from cousin's bachelor party; I had two vodkas, one with lime and another with cranberry. Note: Hooters and Brewerkz are my favourite hangouts if I go Clarke Quay.
3.00am
Took a bath.
3.30am
Sound asleep.
8.00am
Jumped out of bed, brushed teeth, washed face, changed and left for work.
9.00am
Loiter outside the office because lost office keys. Thank goodness Director came shortly.
1.15pm
Finally got off work! -curses and swears at some dumb bell of a business partner-
1.45pm
Reached Bugis Junction and met Yi Bing with twin sister. Note: She slimmed down quite a bit. Warning: Anyone else thinking about slimming down, please spare a thought for me. Everytime someone slims down, their phats get transferred to me. -glares-
2.30pm
Anonymous Angel (AA) arrived at Bugis. AA nauseated me by saying his goodbyes and telling me he is going home. (-.-)" Anyway, we went to Bras Basah Complex to find art stuff for my "white container" also known as (a.k.a.) my dream home. Then went to Karl Heng to PR. AA learnt a few gossip. -mutters- All in all, we went to Sagacity (pronounced as sir-gair-city, not sir-gah-city...I do not care! I am right!), Art Friend and Popular. Did not get anything but that is fine; getting it another day.
4.30pm
Went to McDonald's for takeaway; AA had a hot fudge sundae and I had large iced lemon tea. Walked to City Hall in the rain; AA insisted I share his umbrella even after I told him it spoils my image to use an umbrella. Eh...in short, it has something to do with my reputation and phats! Reached City Hall's interior and got fascinated by the waterfall message. Eh...in short, I will describe it to you should you want to know further details. Met a primary/secondary school mate of mine; she was on her way to work. Anyway, destination was Singapore Flyer so the plan was to walk through City Link Mall and pop out from Esplanade. Lo and behold, got to where Hallmark is and from that point onwards it was jam packed all the way to near New York New York. I hate human crowds! No air~! I held onto his bag's strap as much as I could and managed to get out of that terrible experience.
5.30pm
Finally got to Singapore Flyer and exchanged for tickets. Initally, we planned to take it another day but there were so many restrictions that we had no choice but to take it today. Note: Not to fear, I can go up on the wheel as many times as I can afford to; I simply love it! Took a lot of pictures on mobile phone because neither of us brought a camera, not that I had one but AA did and he did not bring it because he did not expect to take the ride today. To me, the ride was MAGNIFICENT!!! I want to go for the ride again and again! We were smiling, waving and taking pictures back and forth with another young boy in the capsule before ours. After he got off, we saw him and asked him if he was waiting for us and guess what! The girl with him is someone I know! I cannot remember her name but she is playing the sheng for Keat Hong Chinese Orchestra and it is her birthday! Anyway, I bought the picture that was taken at the Singapore Flyer and going to do something with it. It is a secret because AA will be reading this too.
6.30pm
Took a bus to Plaza Singapura and had our dinner at Sakae Sushi. Initially, I wanted to pay it all or at least split the bill but AA got hold of the bill first and paid SGD50; I paid another SGD13. It was a good meal and the highlight was the way he spoke in Malaysian accent! I laughed till I teared.
8.10pm
Went to Spotlight to look for more art materials; enroute we stopped at Crocs at my request. Note: I will be getting a new pair of Crocs in October. After Spotlight, we went to Yamaha. Nope, I still cannot find the pick Jieyin wants. Note: Still searching for the SGD10 pick; very tempted to buy a lot to amount it to SGD10.
9.10pm
Went to Ben & Jerry's at The Cathay. I paid for it because AA paid for dinner. We had a chocolatey awesome time!
10.30pm
We took the train home.
12.00mn
I reached home.
I had a very memorable 9.5 hours. Thank you, AA, for this wonderful birthday present. -hugs-
Right then, I expect no one to come to my blog ever again after this entry, so do not let me find out that you, yes you, have even dropped by my main page! -glares through slitty eyes-
Ciao, pimples!
2.10am
Blogging completed.
